Pakistan has been flouting the ceasefire on the border areas which has led to skirmishes.

After the April 22nd terror attack in Pahalgam, which was a few days after General Munir’s hate speech against Hindus and India, there has been mounting escalation between the two countries.

There has been a diplomatic downgrade, airspace has been closed, Pakistani citizens living in India have been sent back and there is likely to be a closure of postal and shipping services too.

Meanwhile, Pakistans Ambassador to the U.S. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has urged President Donald Trump to intervene and diffuse the tensions between India and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, addressing the troops earlier today General Munir said,”while Pakistan remains committed to regional peace, our preparedness and resolve to safeguard national interests is absolute.”
